*disclaimer: my retrofit headlights washout even my current HID fog lights so this is purely an aesthetic option and not degrading from visibly or functionality in any way. Now on to the fun stuff.
Rememberthose clean clear new fog lights I posted? Yeah, this be them. Lenses popped, reflectors painted, yellow LED mini projector, sealed, etc.
Yes, that’s 4x 3v surefire batteries taped together because voltage.
Ill slap them in tomorrow and do a side-by-side with my yellow lense. Now they’ll get to match my headlights which was the goal.
Why though?
Why not?

But fog lights are so useful...

Ill do a headlight vs foglight comparison before I swap.... The difference is negligible.

But. But... What about that feeling of satisfaction that comes from turning them on in the fog and thinking “Yeah... I’m not a douchebag”?

Befause I can still turn them on and they’ll be all yellow goodness. I could go full meta Dbag and put the 3000k HIDs in the blacked out reflector.... Wonder what that would do

they look slick!
and since fogs are more about looms than lighting, more power to you.
but with leds in there I’m going to guews they are still brighter than a lot of folks headlighta

I actually went through theretrofitsource.com for my headlights, they’re running morimoto H1 minis . Unfortunately my foggies are too shallow to fit a proper projector in, or at least I haven’t found one. (talking 2 inches deep and will probably melt my lenses)
